Take payments on your website through your own Stripe account.

Connecting

In the Stripe Dashboard under Developers, API keys, copy the Secret key (sk_live_ or sk_test_ while testing). The publishable key rides the page, never here.

Start a checkout

• price_id: The Price ID of what is being bought, from your Stripe products. Required.
• quantity: How many. Required.
• mode: One-time payment, a subscription, or saving a card. Required.
• ui_mode: Embedded shows checkout on your page; hosted sends the visitor to Stripe. Required.
• return_url: Where the visitor lands after paying. Must carry the literal {CHECKOUT_SESSION_ID} for embedded mode.
• success_url: Hosted mode: where a successful payment lands.

Answers with: id, client_secret, url, status.

Triggers

• A checkout is completed: arrives the moment it happens.
• A payment fails: arrives the moment it happens.
• A refund is issued: arrives the moment it happens.
• A subscription starts, changes, or ends: arrives the moment it happens.

Settings

• Price: The default Price ID your checkout sells.
• Kind: What kind of checkout this is.
