Create an API key on the Configuration page of your PandaDoc Developer Dashboard.

Create a document from a template

• template_uuid: The ID of the PandaDoc template to create from. Required.
• name: The name of the new document. Required.
• recipient_email: Who signs this document. Required.
• recipient_first_name: Required.
• recipient_last_name: Required.
• recipient_role: The recipient role name from the template, like Client.

Answers with: document_id, status.

Send a document for signing

• document_id: The document to send. Create it from a template first and wait until it is a draft. Required.
• subject: The subject of the signing email.
• message: The message sent with the link to sign.
• silent: Send without email notifications.

Answers with: status, name.

Check a document’s status

• document_id: The document to look up. Required.

Answers with: status, name, date_modified.

Settings

• Template: The template ID new documents are created from by default.
• Email subject: The default subject of the signing email.
• Message: The message with field slots, or bind an input on screen.
