Mailchimp

Grow your Mailchimp audience and send campaigns from your own account.

Connecting

Create an API key in Mailchimp under Account, Extras, API keys. The key ends with your data center code (like -us6), type that code, without the dash, as the dc when you connect.

Add a subscriber

• list_id: The audience ID, found in Mailchimp under Audience, Settings, Audience name and defaults. Required.
• email_address: The email address to add to the audience. Required.
• status: Use pending to send a confirmation email, subscribed to add directly. Required.

Answers with: id, email_address, status.

Send a campaign

• campaign_id: The ID of a campaign you already drafted in Mailchimp. Required.

Triggers

• Subscriber added: arrives the moment it happens.
• Subscriber left: arrives the moment it happens.
• Subscriber details changed: arrives the moment it happens.
• Campaign sent: arrives the moment it happens.

Settings

• Audience: The audience new subscribers join, from Audience, Settings, Audience name and defaults.
