ClickUp

Create tasks in your own ClickUp workspace from your app and read them back in.

Connecting

In ClickUp open your avatar menu, then Settings, then Apps, and copy your personal API Token.

Create a task

• list_id: The ClickUp list the task lands in, the number in the list URL. Required.
• name: The task title. Required.
• description: The task details, plain text.
• status: A status name from that list, like "to do". Left unset, the list default applies.
• priority: 1 urgent, 2 high, 3 normal, 4 low.
• due_date: The due moment as a millisecond timestamp.

Answers with: id, url, status.

Look up a task

• task_id: The task id, from the task URL or a created task. Required.

Answers with: id, name, status, url, date_created.

Triggers

• Task created: arrives the moment it happens.
• Task changed: arrives the moment it happens.
• Task status changed: arrives the moment it happens.
• Comment posted on a task: arrives the moment it happens.

Settings

• List: The ClickUp list new tasks land in by default, the number in the list URL.
• Task name: The task title with field slots, or bind an input on screen.
• Task details: The task details with field slots, or bind an input on screen.
