The built-in steps of a flow: route rows, shape them, convert them, act on them.

Routing: If, Split by rules, Merge, Keep rows, Batches, Wait, Stop, Run a flow, Do nothing. Shaping: Edit fields, Sort, Limit, Dedupe, One row per, Aggregate, Summarize, Rename fields, Compare tables. Text and formats: Date & time, Make text, HTML, Markdown, XML, Scramble, Calendar file, Read a feed. Acting: Run a tool, Get rows, Save rows, Send through a connection, HTTP request, On the screen, Answer the caller.

Every step takes rows in and hands rows on. Steps never throw on missing data: a row a step cannot use passes through untouched, and the few genuine refusals speak one plain sentence each, documented on their pages.
