XML

Turns XML into row data, or back.

Reading XML: attributes land under @name keys, repeated sibling tags become lists, a text-only element becomes its plain words. Writing XML goes the other way from a record field. Malformed XML never fails the run. The row passes through with one added xml-error field naming what went wrong.

Properties

• Field: the field to convert. Required.
• Direction: to-data (default) or to-xml.
• Into: where the answer lands. Defaults to the field.
