Connecting
Create a personal API token under Developers, My access tokens in your monday.com account.
Create an item
- board_id: The board the item lands on. Required.
- item_name: The name of the new item. Required.
- group_id: The group inside the board, if not the default group.
- column_values: Column data as a JSON string, like {"date":"2026-08-15"}.
Answers with: item_id.
Read board items
- board_id: The board to read items from. Required.
- limit: How many items per pull, up to 500.
Answers with: item_id, item_name, cursor.
Settings
- Board: The board id your app reads and creates in by default.

Where it speaks
This connection reaches https://api.monday.com and nowhere else. The hosts are fixed by declaration.
