Loops
Send transactional email and grow your audience through your own Loops account.
Connecting
In your Loops dashboard open Settings, then API, and click Generate key.
Send an email
- email: Who receives the email. Required.
- transactional_id: The ID of the transactional email you created in Loops. Required.
- add_to_audience: Also add the recipient to your Loops audience if they are not in it yet.
Answers with: success.
Add a contact
- email: The contact's email address. Required.
- first_name: Required.
- last_name: Required.
- user_group: A group name for segmenting contacts in Loops.
- user_id: Your app's own ID for this contact.
- source: Where this contact came from, shown in Loops.
- subscribed: Whether the contact can receive campaign and loop emails.
Answers with: id.
Settings
- Email template: The transactional email in Loops your app sends when no other is named. Its content lives in Loops.
- Contact group: The group new contacts join by default.
What it stores
Sent emails (email, transactional-id, success)
Where it speaks
This connection reaches https://app.loops.so and nowhere else. The hosts are fixed by declaration.
