Send email from your app through your own SendGrid account.
Connecting
Create an API key under Settings, then API Keys, in your SendGrid dashboard (app.sendgrid.com/settings/api_keys).
Send an email
- from: A sender address you verified with SendGrid. Required.
- to: Who receives the email. Required.
- subject: The subject line. Required.
- text: The message body. Required.
- format: How the message body is read: plain text or HTML. Required.
Answers with: message_id.
Settings
- Send as: The address your app sends from by default.
- Message: The message with field slots, or bind an input on screen.
What it stores
Sent emails (to, subject, id)
Where it speaks
This connection reaches https://api.sendgrid.com and nowhere else. The hosts are fixed by declaration.
