Slack

Send messages to your own Slack channels from your app through your Slack bot.

Connecting

Create a Slack app with the chat:write scope, install it to your workspace, then copy the Bot User OAuth Token from the app’s OAuth and Permissions page.

Send a message

• channel: The channel the message lands in, picked in the Channel setting. Required.
• text: The message itself, plain text. Required.

Answers with: ts, channel, ok, error.

Triggers

• Message posted: arrives the moment it happens.
• Bot mentioned: arrives the moment it happens.
• Reaction added: arrives the moment it happens.
• Channel created: arrives the moment it happens.

Settings

• Channel: The channel your app sends to. The bot must be invited to it.
• Message: The message with field slots, or bind an input on screen.
