Line

The curve through the points, drawn inside a Chart: trends, curves, histories.

A Line binds its own table and value column and draws on the parent Chart's shared grid. Its hue rides the system series ramp unless Color overrides.

Properties

• Binding: the wired rows feeding this line. Required.
• Y: the value column this line draws. Required.
• X: this line's own x column. Omit to ride the Chart's x, or row order.
• Label: the legend words. Omit for the column name.
• Color: a color override. Omit for the system series ramp.
• Area: fill under the line.

What it announces

• Picked point: the point the reader clicked.
