Image layer

The raster layer: wired array or raster data drawn as pixels. Scans, heatmaps, camera frames.

Renders true window-and-level display math over the data. Data with more than two dimensions grows the system slice navigator, and browsing slices is page state, never an edit. It renders on its own or inside a 2D canvas.

Properties

• Binding: the wired array or raster data. Required.
• Axis: the browse axis for higher-dimensional data.
• Slice: the starting index on the browse axis.
• Window / Level: the display window width and center. Omit for automatic.
• Fit: how the plane fits its box: contain, fill, or none.
• Opacity: 1 is solid.
• Height: layer height in pixels, when standing alone.
• X / Y / W / H: placement in world units, when inside a 2D canvas.
