As an app

An app lives in the platform. Publishing starts it running on the cloud.

One publish door, two choices for an app: private or public. Private lands it in your own Library alone. Public also lists it on the marketplace, where anyone can get it. Either way it runs on the platform's servers from the moment it publishes; your machine can close.

How people use it

Getting an app is a pointer, never a download; nothing lands on the user's machine. Opening it is signing in: no login screen exists, the platform account carries identity. Each user's rows are their own private slice; two users of one app never see each other's data, and you never see who your users are.

Updates

Republish and every user runs the new version on their next open, with their data untouched. No update screen exists anywhere.
