Key words
The dozen words the rest of the docs lean on.
- Project: one buildable thing, an app or a website, holding everything below.
- Table: rows of data. The durable state of your project.
- Tool: code that acts on data. Runs sealed, with no network of its own.
- Result: data derived from other data, kept current.
- Auto-update: a chain of steps that runs by itself when its moment comes.
- Trigger: the moment something starts: a schedule, a webhook call, a change in a Table, a click.
- Flow: steps wired together: what a Trigger starts and nodes carry forward.
- Node: anything that lives on the Map: your Tables and Tools, the steps of a flow, the services you plug in.
- Connection: an outside service plugged into the project with your own key. Its doors are the things it can do.
- The Map: the one canvas where everything above lives and gets wired.
- Screen: one page of your app or website, designed in the editor.
- Action: something a screen can do: declared once, fired by buttons.
- Assistant: an AI role with instructions, part of your project.
- Knowledge: notes the project carries.
